SpringOut Fairday is the largest and highest profile LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community event in Canberra. It is an inclusive event that celebrates the diversity, colour and vibrancy of Canberra.
SpringOut Fairday 2010 will run from 12 noon to 5 pm on Saturday 30 October, on the lawns of Westlund House. It will be bigger than ever this year - don't miss it for anything!
There will be tons of stalls from businesses and community groups. It will be a great day to find out what is going on in the Canberra queer community, as well as pick up some great gifts.
Lots of great food including delicious cakes and sweet things, gourmet ice-cream, greek cuisine, and of course a sausage sizzle, cold drinks and hot coffee!

What if it rains?
SpringOut Fairday will go ahead rain, hail or shine and we won't let it rain on our parade!
We have a wet weather plan and if it's raining a decision will be made to set-up inside Westlund House. So even if it's wet, don't miss all the fun of Fairday!
Show off your pets at the Pet Parade!
You’re proud of them and you know you want to show them off! Show off your pets of all shapes and sizes at the annual Pet Parade at SpringOut Fairday this Saturday!
There are three categories to enter:
- Prettiest pet
- Most obedient
- Looks most like owner
Register your pet at the information desk at Fairday and make sure you’re there when the Pet Parade kicks off at 2.30pm! Show off furry (or otherwise) pride and joy, and win prizes!

Bring your books to Westlund House!
Clearing out unwanted books during your spring clean? You can find a home for them and help out the AIDS Action Council by donating them to the second hand book stall.
Drop them off at Westlund House any time between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Thanks for your support!
